“I am a solicitor and recently acted as a professional attorney for a client in the Swansea area. My client suffered with alcoholism and depression amongst other issues and I instructed Cared Care to assist with the day to day care.
My client had been extremely challenging for a number of years. He had been removed from nursing homes and other care companies had refused to continue to support him due to how difficult he could be.
Cared Care were nothing short of phenomenal in the support they provided my client. Nothing was ever too much of an ask. They assisted my client at all times of the day and night and frequently deviated from the agreed hours to support my client when needed such as if he had a fall and required treatment. I am certain they went above and beyond what is typically expected of a care professional. They were also incredibly supportive in constantly liaising with me, providing me with updates as to my client’s wellbeing but also kindly offering advice and recommendations of all kinds. Whether it be simple ideas for activities to help my client’s mood or suggestions of equipment which could assist with my client’s mobility.
My client would often display signs of both verbal and physical aggression. Cared Care dealt with this professionally and during their time of assisting, the occasions on which aggression was displayed decreased significantly.
Cared Care endured undoubtedly incredibly difficult circumstances with my client but where other care provides have struggled to persevere, the support from Cared Care was unwavering. This, in the long term was incredibly comforting both to myself and my client.
Over time, Cared Care became an essential support system to my client, both physically and emotionally. They made him happier and safer. As my client’s health deteriorated, Cared Care were a constant right until the very end and I am incredibly grateful to them for this as I am certain it was of great comfort.
